track 7 script
WOMAN
Where are you going? How are you getting there? What will you do once you arrive? How will I know you? How will I remember you?
MAN
She will find you. She will know you. He will fire at you. He wants to sight you. She will know your weakness. You are not worth it. You are a fool. You are marking a territory that will no longer hold.
WOMAN
I can protect you. I can mount a wall. I cannot protect myself. Who will protect me?
They will monitor the space. It is too valuable to leave open. You cannot easily cross over. You will need help.
MAN
He can do a search.
WOMAN
I can be identified too easily. She is easily positioned. There is a sightline.
MAN
It is a targeted group.
WOMAN
You should arrive in 35 minutes. The building is 1.3 miles off Exit 6.
MAN
You do not have sufficient defenses. There is another mechanism of containment. There is another hole.
WOMAN
Your body fits well in that vehicle. I am not held well in it. I was nearly attacked. It is not safe. We were targeted. I could sense it.
You do not know where you are going. You never know. You are weak and directionless. You need protections. I cannot shield you. I can only follow you. I am too easily identified.
MAN
You show a predictable tendency. A soft turn, but to a traceable degree.
WOMAN
Last night she was attacked. She has not defined her limits. She is not locatable in this group.
MAN
I will destroy him. I know where to find him. I know when his defenses are down.
He could fire first. These thoughts are easily patterned. The territory is signatured.
I am strong in that context. You cannot circulate there. You have too many fortifications. I detest your weaknesses.
WOMAN
You are obsessed with him. Your obsessions are encodable. Your walls are inefficient. His systems are more pervasive. We cannot belong to that sector. We are not in the same place. You long for a wedge. I will not follow you. I may touch you.
MAN
You are still taking that injection. It has distanced you. You work from the inside out. I do not require the same dangers.
WOMAN
You never turned off that device. I trusted you.
She cuts deeper. You are grouped together in that database. There is a small percentage of intersection. There is more potential on that other road. It is unformatted. It does not see her. She aligns in an unusual way.
MAN
That device is outmoded. Its dangers no longer contour it.
WOMAN
You call up the wrong protections. You misfire. You are incompetent. Leave me.
MAN
You would betray me.
WOMAN
You would imperil me.
MAN
You are too often signatured in that format.
WOMAN
Get him when his defenses are down.
MAN
He may have new protections installed.
WOMAN
He will destroy you.
MAN
I will find her edge. There is data to be captured. I can nearly call up a file.
Your tendencies are too easily imaged. You have always been easily positioned. Your registrations are ubiquitous. You are singular. You should reorient your operations. You can be protected with those old devices. Though the devices may no longer have use for you. You are nearly obsolescent. Marked by a warpage of time. We are finished with you.
WOMAN
Shield me.
MAN
Violate me. She says.
WOMAN
Endanger her.
MAN
Track them.
WOMAN
Optimize.
MAN
You want to be policed. There is a device that can better fit you. A device that can fire.
WOMAN
I prefer a contrasting battle. His battles no longer materialize. You cannot have what he wants. You fire too late. Your group can be shot down. Obliterated. What would remain of me?
MAN
Your division is inefficient.
WOMAN
I know of a pending attack. I am scared. He targets me. I can only see if the sightline is rerouted. His passions shield him.
MAN
Will you penetrate me?
